Leyb Skudovich, the earliest known family member, was born before 1765, possibly in Skudutiškis in Ukmerge district, Kovno gubernia, Lithuania. Skudutiškis is located 20 miles southeast of Trashkun (Troskunai). Leyb died before 1812.
Berko Skudovich, the only known son of Leyb Skudovich, was born in Rogeve (Raguva) in 1783 and died sometime before 1848. The six known children of Berko Skudovich:
I. Leybe Yudel Skudovich was born in Rogeve (Raguva) in 1812. His wife was Tauba, who was born in 1812 and died after 1857. Leybe Yudel died sometime after 1874.

- Tillie (Taibel) Scudewitz (later Scudder) was born in Carmel, New Jersey, on 6 September 1904. In Philadelphia in 1923 she married Julian Bellenghi, who was born in Philadelphia on 22 July 1900. They had one son. Julian died in Philadelphia on 15 June 1956. Tillie died in Silver Spring, Maryland, on 14 May 1989.

He is mentioned in Sholom Eyzer's account of the 1915 pogrom in Trashkun. Berel and Frida were evacuated to Penza, Russia,[NOTE]In 1915, during World War I, tens of thousands of Jews were forcibly expelled to the east by the Russian authorities. On 26 August 1919 in Ponevezh/Panevėžys he married Chane-Golda Yuzent of Trashkun, born ~1897, daughter of Zussman Leyb Yuzent and Sheyne Shapiro (both were born in 1868 and died in 1936). Dov Ber emigrated to Winburg, South Africa, in 1925, followed two years later by his wife and daughter. Chane-Golda died on 31 July 1974, and Dov Ber died on 30 September 1980, both in Germiston, Gauteng, South Africa.

In Johannesburg, South Africa, she married Issy (Yisroel Eliyohu) Bolel, who was born in Rogeve (Raguva) in 1920, son of Chaim Leyb and Pesha. The Ichikovich and Bolel families had met during World War I, when both families had been expelled from Lithuania into the interior of Russia. Fanny and Issa had two sons. Issy died on 14 January 1990, and Fanny died on 31 December 1991, both in Johannesburg, South Africa.
- Vichna Itzikovich was born in Trashkun/Troskunai ~1900. On 15 August 1924, she married Eliash Shmit, born in Trashkun/Troskunai in 1895, son of Mendl and Sora Shmit. Vichna, Eliash, and their children were killed in the Holocaust in 1941.

Mendell came to the US in 1899, stayed briefly, then returned to his family in Lithuania before permanently resettling in the US. In 1905, Etta/Ethel and their five Lithuanian-born children joined him in Auburn, Maine. A sixth child was born in the US. Mendell died on 24 September 1906 in Auburn, Maine. Ethel died in February 1965 in Massachusetts.

On 13 April 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, she married Yosel Leyb Krisal (later [Joseph] Louis Crystal), who was born in September 1894 in Zager/Žagarė, Lithuania. Miriam was his second wife. (His first wife was Leah Oppenheim, born in Kalvarija, Lithuania, with whom he had one daughter.) Miriam and Louis settled in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Miriam died on 1 July 1953, and Louis died in November 1953, both in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Berel died on 11 August 1898, and Sheyna Rochel died on 9 August 1927, both in Ponevezh/Panevezys. The nine children of Berel Skudovich and Sheyna Rochel Kupowitz:
- Yosel (later Joseph) Kupowitz was born in Ponevezh/Panevezys on 23 October 1874. - David Julius Oppenheim was born in Boston, Massachusetts on 8 May 1918. In 1942 he married Miriam (Malka) Morrison (born 10 July 1920 in Boston, Massachusetts). They had one son. David died on 2 August 1975, and Miriam died on 25 October 1997, both in Belmont, Massachusetts.
