Modern Life
Stolin experienced a large increase in population following WWII and now serves as a regional center. The downtown area was recently beautifully renovated for a harvest festival; pedestrian walks, parks and event centers all received a face lift. Also of interest is Mankovichi Park, which used to be part of the summer estate of the ruling Radziwiłł family, and the war memorial which is outside the city’s new park.
