Yizkor Books

Yizkor books were written following the Holocaust to memorialize the destroyed Jewish communities of Europe. The authors were former residents who survived the war and those who left prior to the war.

There are two remembrance books that were written about Stolin following the Holocaust which can be found in libraries in the U.S., Israel, Canada, and the UK. You may also find Stolin mentioned in other yizkor books that are dedicated to the region and towns in the region.

These resources honor the people who were murdered by recording life in the shtetl and showing that the Jews of Stolin were more than mere footnotes and statistics.
