During my short visit to Delyatin, I did not locate any old synagogues. In
this region, it was not uncommon to have a small synagogue, besmedresh, inside of
a home. Each town usually had at least one larger shul as well. Later, when
I have an opportunity to review my videotapes in detail, I will try to recall if any of
these houses were identified to me as being prayer houses of any sort. Should
anyone reading this page have specific information about synagogues in Delyatin, please send it to me so that I can include it here.
