The following testimonies come from members of our family and tell us what they remembered about
their life in Bollendorf and their visits there. Daniel Mayer, who died in 1998 dictated his memories during
the last years of his life. Bella Heppenheimer, Marthe Levy Kristeller, Helen Hein Herrmann, Walter Mayer have
written up their memories within the last two years. We hope that more of us connected to Bollendorf
will come forward and contribute what they know.
