Nosacki Family

Submitted by Sheldon A. Goldberg, a grandson of Liebe ( née Nosacki) and Eliezer Replanski (Lena and Louis Goldberg)

Kasriel David Nosacki and his wife Tzira resided in Lunna, had four sons and one daughter born between 1885 and the mid-1890's. Their daughter Liebe (Lena) moved to the USA to join her husband, Eliezer Replanski (Louis Goldberg), also from Lunna, in 1906. Kasriel’s oldest son, Avram (Abram) also came to the USA in 1906, and the next two brothers, Moishe-Aron (Morris) and Rafael (Ralph) came in the summer of 1921. Moishe-Aron, born in Lunna in 1895, was married in Lunna to Bejla, born in Lunna in 1896 to her parents Hirsz and Eszka Pinchosowicz. They had two sons: Herszl (Harry), who was born in Lunna in 1921, and Solomon, born in the U.S. around 1930. One son of Kasriel David remained in Lunna; it could be that his name was Mendel (see note 1).

Below are two documents written in Polish and signed by Rabbi Tuvia Rodberg [Rotberg] in Lunna-Wola on December 1, 1927. The first document is an affidavit attesting to the marriage of Mowsha-Aaron Nosacki and Bejla Pinchosowicz. The second document is an affidavit attesting to the birth of their son, Herszel. The witnesses are W. Berachowicz and Leib Szalachman (see note 2).

Notes

Note 1:
The list of victims from Auschwitz [link to www.yadvashem.org] gives the name of Cala Nasacki, born in Lunna in 1919 to Mendel and Malka nee Sater. During the war Cala Nasacki resided in Lunna. [Cala is a transliteration of a nickname Israel or Saul].  >back

Note 2: One of the two witnesses who signed the Polish documents posted above was Leib Szalachman. Leib had a daughter Devorah (Shalachman) who married Yehuda (Yudel) Pinchosowicz (see: Margulis, Yogiel & Shalachman page). According to a testimony page for the memory of Yehuda Pinchosowicz, his parents' names were: Hershel and Eszka Pinchosowicz. Therefore, the witness Leib Shalachman was the father-in-law of Bejle's brother (i.e. of Yehuda Pinchosowicz).
The list of victims from Auschwitz gives the name of Mowsha Pinchosowicz, born in 1908 in Lunna to Hirsz (Hershel) and Eszka née Win. Eszka was a sister of Yehoshua ("Eshel") Win (see: Win family page). >back
