In this place beyond the railroad crossing close to the road leading to the small town of Poninka, fascist bandits shot 1,270 Jewish prisoners of the Polonsk ghetto on June 25, 1942. The monument to their gravesite was erected in 1989.
Holocaust Memorial This memorial is in the woods by the railway station on the site of a mass slaying of over 4,000 Jews of Polonnoye, and of the villages of Novolabun and Vorobievka in September 1941 by the German fascists. Erected in 1961.
