In this place beyond the railroad crossing close to the road leading to the small town of Poninka, fascist bandits shot 1,270 Jewish prisoners of the Polonsk ghetto on June 25, 1942.           

The monument to their gravesite was erected in 1989.

This memorial is in the woods by the railway station, on the site of a mass slaying of over 4,000 Jews of Polonnoye, villages Novolabun and Vorobievka in September of 1941 by the German fascists. 
Erected in 1961.
