The Jewish Cemetery in Ostroh is one of the oldest in Ukraine, with burials dating back to the 15th century, including notable figures such as the Maharsha.
Over the centuries, it evolved into an important historical site but was desecrated during the Soviet era, repurposed as a park until Hryhoriy Arshynov* rebuilt it.
