SCICANIE was a dependency:
In 1928,
Scicanie was
designated as a wies (village) in the First Uchastok, Lida powiat,
Nowogrodskie voevodstvo of Poland. The Justice of the Peace was in
Lipniszki and the Justice Court in Wilno. The 1928 population was 518.
The railway station was 4 kilometers away Gawja on the Lida-Moldeczno
line. The post office and telephone were in Lipniszki and telegraph in
Gawja. Mackiszki had "poleckiszki" [meaning unknown], brickworks, and
mills.
