3 Iyar 5695 would be 6 May 1935, which is more in keeping with the dates on other stones, as well as with there being a surname on the stone. Unfortunately my html editing program doesn't know what to do with Roman numerals plus Hebrew text and put the line numbers at the wrong end of the lines.
