In 1928, Bieniakonie was designated as a miastechzko and gmina wiejska(parish town), seat of Tarnow community office, in the First Uchastok, Lida powiat, Nowogrodskie voevodstvo of Poland. The Justice of the Peace was in Ejszyszki and the Justice Court in Wilno. The 1928 population was 180. The railway station was the Lida-Wilno line. The post office and telephone were in Bialohruda and telegraph in Lida. Bieniakonie had one Catholic church and mills. Markets were on Wednesdays.

The revolutionary Isaac Meir Devenishky (1879-1919), executed by Polish soldiers in Vilna, was born in Bienakonie.

Bieniakonie, Beniakony country town, Lida powiat, in second administrative district, landed estate of Mr. Rymsza, 47 wiorsts from Wilna, 43 from Lida. Inhabitants of both sexes; 63. Wooden Catholic parish church dedicated to John the Baptist, established 1634 by Jan Dzaplinski. Catholic Parish belongs to decanate [a church administrative district of 10 churches, no longer used, not in Encyclopedia Britannica] of Radun, with 4370 members. There is a branch of this church in Butrymance. Parish village Bieniakonie, Lida powiat, has a population of 2,840 with males 1,436, females 1,494. The terrain consists of cultivated flat land, forest, swamp, much fallow ground; rivers - Solcza and Zyzma.

In 1928, Bielunce was designated as a wies (village) and gromada (collective? or group of villages) in the gmina Bieniakonie, that make Remiczowo in the First Uchastok, Lida powiat, Nowogrodskie voevodstvo of Poland. The Justice of the Peace was in Holszany and the Justice Court in Wilno. The 1928 population was 615. The railway station was 7 kilometers away in Bieniakonie. The post office and telephone were in Dziewieniszki and telegraph in Lida.
