Jacob Botoshansky

(Kiliya, Bessarabia, 6-Aug-1895 - Johannesburg, South Africa, 27-Oct-1964).

Son of a butcher, he studied in a Kishinev yeshiva and later in Odessa.
At the outbreak of World War I, he fled to Rumania where he started his journalistic career.
He arrived to Argentina in 1923, and began writing in the Yiddish newspaper Di Presse, later becoming editor.
