Ishaya (Shia) was born in Vyshgorodok in 1878 to Asher Zelig & Faiga Roykhman. Ishaya, along with his brother Joseph and sister Toby, immigrated to Canada, where he was known as Sam Richmond.

Ida (Chaya) Krasnopoler Steinbaum, born in 1878 in Vyshgorodok, visits her mother Malka in 1935.
