During the First World War, the Germans constructed a narrow-gauge railway line connecting Ponedel / Pandėlys to Skopishik / Skapiškis and Suvainishik / Suvainiškis.  In this August 1932 photograph, members of a soccer team pose with an engine of the railway line.  Yad Vashem Archives, Item 75328.
