Circa 1925 Tarbut School in Pumpenai

This picture was given to me by the Lithuanian Historian with the Pasvalys Museum, A. Stapulionis. Picture taken in 1937 by a local photographer, Petras Pranke. In the picture are pupils from the Pusalotas Jewish school, the teachers, and other young Jews who took part in the spring trip to the bridge across the river LIMO. The wooden bridge was on the Pusalotas-Pumpenai road. The wooden bridge has been replaced with a concrete bridge.
