Cemetery
Before the Nazis destroyed the Jewish cemetery in Mattersburg during the Holocaust, they photographed some of the gravestones. The number of stones photographed is unknown, but the Österreichische Jüdische Museum in Eisenstadt has 300 of the photographs in its archives. Museum curator, Johannes Reiss, has begun to post this collection on the museum blog. To view them, go to: http://www.ojm.at/blog/friedhof-mattersburg/.
