ZELVA/ZELWA/BOLSHOYE
SELO /VELKAVES - its
coordinates place it just south and west of Vasilishki, near the modern
little village of Gumofel'. It may not be inhabited today.
The
Zelva known today as Velkaves is at the above latitude &
longitude. There is another, larger, Zelva south of it. It is
irrelevant that this larger Zelva is west of Slonim, but it sure will help you
find it on a map. It also shares the alternate names, just to make life interesting.
There
is also a Zelva
in Lithuania.
