~ Kolodne Cemetery ~ |

Jewish families that lived in Kolodne, and possibly other nearby villages, used the Kolodne cemetery as the final resting place for their loved ones. |
The cemetery is located off a main road, behind the school. Due to the size of the cemetery, it seemed to have had many more stones in the past, but only a couple were seen—leaning against the wall—not on a plot. The gate was locked. |
In the documents section of the "Other" tab, you will find a link to a U.S. Commission Report completed in 2005 that attempted to document Jewish Cemeteries (and Synagogues and Mass Grave Sites) in Ukraine. This cemetery is not listed as well as many other village cemeteries of the Zakarpats'ka oblast. |
