Entrance to Hashomerim Cemetery

Entrance to Hashomerim Cemetery The entrance to the Cemetery of  The Guardians  in Kiryat Amal.
The cemetery location was set in 1946 by Moshe Yaffe.

The shepherd Boaz Persov died of a sunstroke and fell into the Spring of Shara'a.
His grave was the first in the cemetery of the Society of Guardians, in the forest
between Sheikh Abrik and Kiryat Amal (today Tivon).

Moshe Yaffe built the tomb from wild stone.  This is the beginning of
the beautiful and unique Cemetery of The Guardians, where all the
tombs are built of wild stone; Moshe's style continues to exist today.
