Zapson' had a synagogue and a mikvah (ritual bath house). The Rabbi of Kaszony, Zvi RUTENBERG (1890-1944), visited the small community of Zapson' when the mikvah was made kosher or baking of matzah (unleavened bread) for the Jewish holiday of Pesach (Passover). |

The Kosher butcher came to Zapson' only once a week and funerals were held without a rabbi. The community hired Cantors only for the high holidays. |

Jewish families that lived in Zapson', and possibly other nearby villages, used the Zapson' cemetery as the final resting place for their loved ones. |

The Jewish cemetery is located outside of town, on the mountainside, behind a house along the road. It has a wall around it and seems well-maintained by goats. |

This cemetery is not listed as well as many other village cemeteries of the Zakarpats'ka oblast. |
