PICT0386

This is an official document made up 03.10.1934 written by Chaim Mendel Horowitz - rabbi in Tarnobrzeg addressed to Count Tarnowski. [written at official sheet of paper of rabbi]
Rabbi Horowitz requests for a wood "on behalf of poor children [from] Jewish school". Count had given the wood in previous years and there is a request for 1934/1935 school year. Rabbi underlines the philantrophy of County for poor people. He also requests for 7 cords of tough wood for himself which could be bought for good price from nearby woods.

As I result rabbi could buy 7 cords from Buda forests with 20% of sluice for 24 zlotys for each cord. County agreed to provide wood for Jewish school [for 1934/1935].
