The following lists of names comes from the book written by Jadwiga Muszynska called "Zydzi w miastach wojewodztwa sandomierskiego I lubelskiego w XVIII wieku" in English known as "The Jews in the towns of the Sandomierz and the Lublin Provinces in the 18th Century".

In this book, the author details about 25 census lists of names from various cities in these two counties. The problem with these lists; most are made up of only first names and son of. Very few Jews at that time had last names, so it is hard to use and you must know something more about your ancestor. Still it is a start. I know for a fact that a 1796 or 1786 census for Dzikow exists in the archives in Przemysl. Later this year, I hope, the new CD ROM will come out from the Polish archives system, listing all the census records, of Poland. A word to the wise. This CD ROM has been due out, for three years, but it still has not arrived, on the book shelves.

I am in the process of translating more data from the book and when it is completed I will share it with you.
