Special interest groups

There are two listservs whose content includes the Kolomyya region.

• Gesher Galicia Austrian Poland, a province of the Austro-Hungarian Empire from 1772 until 1917, now in southern Poland and western Ukraine.
• Jewish Records Indexing - Poland (JRI-Poland), An organization with the mission to index all the Jewish vital records in Poland.

To sign up for either of these, login into Jewishgen and go to their SIGs page. If there is interest, we can start a Kolomyya list.
There is also a Facebook Kolomyya Descendents Group. You must have a Facebook account and apply to be added to the group.
