~ Kolochava Cemetery ~

Jewish families that lived in Kolochava, and possibly other nearby villages, used the Kolochava cemetery as the final resting place for their loved ones.

The Jewish cemetery is located in the town, on a hillside. It has a fence built around it and there is a caretaker. The cemetery is well-maintained and contains a Holocaust memorial.

In the documents section of the "Other" tab, you will find a link to a U.S. Commission Report completed in 2005 that attempted to document Jewish Cemeteries (and Synagogues and Mass Grave Sites) in Ukraine. This cemetery is listed in the Zakarpats'ka oblast.
