A Trip Back in Time


Alejandro Landman was born in Stanisławów and lived there with his family before WWII. His father, Dr. Hersh Landman was a lawyer. His grandfather, Saul Anderman owned the second largest leather factory in the city and which employed over 300 workers.  Alejandro has graciously offered to share his personal photos.  Here he is on the balcony of his family's apartment at 2 Smolki in 1936 with his mother (top), in 1999 (bottom left) and in 2008 (bottom right).
