York, shows Pauline (Pesha) Mandel Pepper on the left and her twin,
Helen (Henia) Mandel Jacobs on the right. Pauline and Helen were

Hinda
and Sala Mandel, c. 1933
|
These were the last photos
of Hinda and Sala Mandel that the family had until your webmaster was
contacted by Rosalie Lawrence and Ruth Holler Smith, the daughters of Sala
Holler. Apparently Sala Holler was friends with Sala Mandel and
had several photos of Sala Mandel as an adult. With some
identification by Solomon Mandel, son of Joel and Berta Mandel, we now
have photos of Sala and Hinda in the years immediately preceding World
War II. See the Holler Family Photos and the
Betar Photos.
