I want to tell a story about the shtetl Husi as it
existed in the 1800's. I want to get your attention so that you will
add your own stories and photos. The gentleman to the right is my
great-grandfather LABE DAVID, who came with his mother to Husi by
wagon. He has a gentle face, a white beard, and hazel eyes like mine.
He has a grandson, named for him, who was forced to remain in Romania
by the Communists. Today, this Labe David LIVES IN ISRAEL!

My name is Rennie and in my home in NJ, I pass
through the hallways. THE WALLS HOLD THE PHOTOS OF MY ANCESTORS. I nod
to my relatives.
OPEN your mouths
TALK to me
Tell me about your lives. They are mute.
ALAS!!!! I can only IMAGINE!!!!
HELP US ALL REMEMBER -- send your stories and photos in remembrance of
those who can no longer speak.
I would like
