Once there was a Shtetl
Pictures of Jewish
sites in Żółkiewka – How they looked (if available) and what
has become of them.
Unfortunately, from a bustling mostly Jewish town with an active community,
there are hardly any reminders.
None of the Jewish community's facilities (Synagogue, Mikve, Cemetery) survived
or are acknowledged in any way.
A memorial, set up by three survivors on the town square in 1996, is the only reminder that
Jews once lived in Żółkiewka.
