Formed in 1927 as a New York State not-for-profit organization.¹⁾ A WPA listing ²⁾ from 1938 shows 25 original members in 1927. In 1938, membership is 150 with 80% coming from Yurevichi. An alternative spelling may be “Yurevetcher Benevolent Society”.³⁾. The Urevitzer Frauen Club is probably an unincorporated affiliate of this group.
