Formed in 1927 as a New York State not-for-profit organization.1) A WPA listing 2) from 1938 shows 25 original members in 1927. In 1938, membership is 150 with 80% coming from Yurevichi. An alternative spelling may be “Yurevetcher Benevolent Society”.3). The Urevitzer Frauen Club is probably an unincorporated affiliate of this group.
