Slonim History
The Ledger of Slonim by Kalman Lichtenstein
Translated by Joe Chappell the late uncle of Ray Stone who passed this on for inclusion on this site.
Memoirs and Family Stories
This is a translation of the memoirs of Moshe Eisenstadt, born in 1893 in Telechan, a small town just north of Pinsk, in the region of the Soviet Union now called Byelorussia. After marrying and moving with his wife, Rochel Chepelevsky, to Denver in 1920, he changed his name in 1925 to Morris Stone. He died in Denver in 1961.
Submitted by Ray Stone the son of the late Moshe Eisenstadt
This is a fairly long account written by Moshe whilst in Slonim during WW1, although not all the memoir is about Slonim it is a fascinating read and would have been an injustice to separate the Slonim related item.
