Statue of Moses and the Ten Commandments

The Statue of Moses and the Ten Commandments was erected by The Foundation to Commemorate The Presence of Jews in the History of Poland, with approval of the city. The initiator of the foundation was John Pomian of London, England, who served in the Polish Air Force in Great Britain during the World War II. The current chairman is Professor Jacek Kochanowski of Warsaw University. The statue, by G. Zemla, was the first project of the foundation and was erected in 1995.
