Janush Kluska was named for his grandfather Yona who, along with most of the family, was murdred during the Shoah. After Janush's untimely death his parents, Kalman and Dora, along with Janush's two siblings, Baruch and Lilliana, moved to Israel, where they settled on a moshav near Hadera (located in the Haifa District).
