Jewish families that lived in Verkhniy Studenyy, and possibly in other nearby villages, used one of the two Verkhniy Studenyy cemeteries as the final resting place for their loved ones — both located passing through the village. |

The smaller cemetery (Cemetery 1) is located along the highway with a wall built around it and a metal door. |

The larger cemetery (Cemetery 2) is located above the smaller cemetery — on the mountain side — and it too has a wall built around it and a metal door. |

In the documents section of the "Other" tab, you will find a link to a U.S. Commission Report completed in 2005 that attempted to document Jewish Cemeteries (and Synagogues and Mass Grave Sites) in Ukraine. This cemetery is not listed as well as many other village cemeteries of the Zakarpats'ka oblast. |
