Can you Identify this photo?
Unidentified mother and child
This picture was in my aunt's photo album.
It is a postcard type, same type of
writing on the top as in other photos...Polish, French...saying postcard.
No date is written, but I assume pre-1942. Unfortunately, there
is a message on the backside, but my aunt glued the photo into her album and
all that is left are pieces of black paper stuck to the backside of the photo.
Writing is not legible because of that.
I have asked everyone in the family (both
grandmother's side and grandfather's side) all from Svisloch. No one knows
this person.
I would hate to throw out this photo. This woman
and child likely perished in the Holocaust.
