~ Nove Selo Cemeteries ~
Jewish families that lived in Nove Selo, and possibly other nearby villages, used one of two Jewish cemeteries in Nove Selo as the final resting
place for their loved ones.
One Nove Selo cemetery was destroyed and is now farmland. The other Nove Selo cemetery still exists, behind a house. Images of both cemeteries follow below.
Both Jewish cemeteries are located outside of town, one one farmland and the other behind a house along the road. Neither is maintained.
In the documents section of the "Other" tab, you will find a link to a U.S. Commission Report completed in 2005 that attempted to document Jewish Cemeteries
(and Synagogues and Mass Grave Sites) in Ukraine. This cemetery is not listed as well as many other village cemeteries of the
Zakarpats'ka oblast.
Following are all of the tombstones found in the cemetery.
