First Luberer Benevolent
Association: Records held at YIVO in
NYC (1937-1976). Established in 1895 by
immigrants from Lyubar (Yiddish Luber),
Ukraine. Provided interest-free loans for
members. After World War II, maintained a
Luberer Relief Organization together with
other landsmanshaftn to aid survivors in
Israel and South America. Constitution.
