- Belgian database:
Jewish
families from Poland Mr. Claude Geudevert of Brussels, Belgium, has created a 100,000 name
database of Jews who lived or passed through Belgium, mostly concentrating
on those from the Brussels area. The largest single source of names is
that of Jews coming from Poland. Thus, the "dictionnaire de généalogie
Belgique" (Belgian database) is a unique and valuable resource for
researchers of Polish Jewish families. The Belgian database is available
online on the GenAmi web site (up to and including the 20th century,
with many Lodzers in this database).
