Kuz'myno Holocaust

The day after Passover 5704 (16 April 1944), the general roundup of all Kuz'myno's Jews began.
They were all taken to the ghetto, where they cowered for a month or so and then were transported to Auschwitz.

Summary: The testimony of Leib and Gittle Moscowitz tells, in their own words, the harrowing story of two teenagers swept up in the maelstrom of the German death machine and who, against all odds, managed to survive. They are not historians talking about something that happened to other people. They are not literary craftsmen trying to evoke emotions in audiences that can only imagine what it might have been like in Auschwitz, Mauthausen and Ravensbruck. Leib and Gittle were there. They know what happened. They experienced it. What they are sharing are not reminiscences, but eternal truths.
