KehilaLinks: preserving our history for future generations

Photos and Text contributed by The Tarrow Family.

Text edited for clarity, photos touched up and cropped, by the Page Coordinator.

This is my uncle, Archig Tarabeur, who was murdered by the Nazis in 1942, and my mother, Annette ("Nettie") Greenberg Tarrow, who was married to his brother in the US. She visited Kletzk on her honeymoon.

Most of the cemetery stones were stolen or overturned during the war , as we saw when we visited the site in 1992.

And Sara . . . his wife, daughter of Nakhman

Tarabeur

May their souls be bonded in eternal life

Our father, seated in a tuxedo at the center, brought home this picture and the one above from his trip to Kletsk in 1928.
