KehilaLinks: preserving our history for future generations

This photograph was donated by Risa Heywood. It was taken during a 1999 Trip to Minsk organized by ShtetlSchleppers (now apparently defunct) passed through Kletsk.

This is the Yeshiva building, the one that housed the renowned Yeshiva from Slutsk after the Revolution. This building was used in 1994 as a cultural center. Elimelech Ben-Ari was deeply committed to reclaiming this building somehow as a site of commemoration.
