Moses Treszczanski was born in Goniadz in 1860, and emigrated with his family to the United States in 1891. Moses was a well known Bal Korah (bible reader) and a lay Cantor both in Poland and in New York City. His autobiography is available through this Web site by clicking here. This recording of Moses' chanting was made in the early 1930s, shortly before his death..
