Borisovers in Israel

Haim Laskov was chief of Staff of the IDF

Alexander Rosenbloom was born in Borisov in 1925 and devoted much effort to memorializing the Jewish community of Borisov. He moved to Ariel, Israel, in 1996 and published a memoir of Borisov in Russian called _Pamyat na krovi_ [Memory sealed in blood]. The lists of Borisov holocaust victims on the WWII and Soviet records portion of this site are translated from _Pamyat na krovi_. A review of _Pamyat na krovi_ and discussion of his other work appears here.  In addition he collected antique picture postcards of Borisov some of which can be seen here. I do not know if he is still alive. His son Felix has recently updated the website of Alexander Rosenbloom's memoirs of Borisov.
