With the support of Jewish communities and organizations around the world, it has been collecting “Pages of Testimony” since the mid- 1950s. These are designed to memorialize Jewish victims of he Holocaust by restoring the identity and life story of each victim. Pages of Testimony contain names, biographical details and, when available, photographs, of the victims. Submitted by survivors, relatives or friends, they are preserved in the Hall of Names, in Yad Vashem’s Museum complex in Jerusalem.. Yad Vashem has so far collected 2.2 million Pages of Testimony. The names of additional victims have been derived from other historical sources, such as deportation lists. . At the Yad Vashem website [www.yadvashem.org], one can access information on the over 3 million Jewish victims identified so far. Millions more victims remain unnamed. PAGES OF TESTIMONY FOR ŻUROMIN Tragically, the Names database contains more than one thousand Pages of Testimony for Holocaust victims from Żuromin. The list can be browsed by entering the town name (Żuromin) on the search page, or you can search for a particular person or family by entering the name and the town on the search page If you know of a victim whose name is missing, you are urged to submit this information to Yad Vashem. You are also encouraged to submit additional information about, or photos of persons who already have a Page of Testimony.
