They all immigrated from Yurburg to the United States between
1900 and 1905. They followed a brother, George Krelitz, first to
Altoona, Pennsylvania, then to the Mesabe Iron Range in Northern
Minnesota as dry goods peddlers. They eventually all married and
settled in Minneapolis, Altoona, and Milwaukee, becoming successful
merchants.
