To meditate in the shaded field of his burial place
In his Torah (scholarship), his wisdom and all of his righteousness

He departed with a good name on the 16 of Kislev
5657 (1897).  May his memory be for blessing

The second line is a reference to Genesis 24:63.  This the prelude to when Isaac meets Rebecca wherein it states and Isaac went out to meditate in the field
