Here lies buried
My elderly mother, and (with kindness) of heart
She spread forth her palm to the poor
She sent forth her hand to the enemy
Mrs. Rachel Leah Kaplan the daughter of R.
Eliyahu, she departed with a good name
On the 10th of Adar I, in the year 5681 (1921)
May her soul be bound up in the bonds of life
