The Smulowitz Family
This information was donated by RAE.
The only information I have about Vitebsk is that my maternal grandfather,
David Smulowitz, came from there. Unfortunately, neither I nor my
mother have any other details about the place. He travelled to South
Africa in the early 1900's and settled in a tiny village called Tsolo,
where he had a dry goods store. He never returned to Vitebsk, of course.
