The Blackman (Blechman) Family

I only know that my grandmother's family came from the place that was also the birthplace of Chagall. My great uncle, my grandmother's brother was a colleague of Ben Zvi's, in the same Zionist group. He went on Aliyah Bet with Ben Zvi to what was then Palestine. Ben Zvi helped my great uncle change his name from a Diaspora name to a more Hebraic name to Yehuda Yuval. My great uncle help found Kibbutz Ramat Rachel. My great great grandparents are buried in Mt Olive Cemetery in Jerusalem.
